Steve Kerns

Steve, a native of Nebraska, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1976. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve and graduated from its Officer Candidates School while in college.

His financial services career began with the Great Southern Life Insurance Company, where he earned “Rookie of the Year” honors in 1978. For the next six years, Steve built a successful retail life insurance practice, receiving numerous company awards, as well as qualifying for the Million Dollar Roundtable all six of those years.

In 1983, he and his wife, Becky, founded InsurMark, which is known for its integrity, innovation, leadership and service. Although it began as a small dream, InsurMark is now a well-established and well-respected national insurance marketing organization with thousands of advisor-partners in all 50 states. In the past ten years alone, InsurMark advisors placed nearly $5 billion in fixed and fixed-indexed annuity premium.

David McDaniel

David McDaniel joins Simplicity Financial Marketing with almost a decade of insurance experience. His breadth of experience is demonstrated by past focuses in market research, actuarial pricing, and most recently, managing the marketing programs of a medium sized insurance carrier. Throughout David’s career in insurance he always worked closely with annuities and life insurance, whether it was preparing competitor comparisons, performing due diligence for reinsurance acquisitions, pricing products or organizing marketing strategies.

David enjoys all aspects of business and investment and studied finance at ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business, graduating in 2006 with honors. He also holds an Arizona Life and Health insurance license and has produced business.

David lives in central Phoenix with his wife Rachel and two daughters. He enjoys hiking and action sports; but most of all, time with his family.

After many years in pastoral ministry, Mr. Vick began his financial services career in 1992, becoming an immensely successful planner and top producer. He later joined Simplicity Marketing as their national sales manager and field mentor.

A gifted educator, Mr. Vick writes, speaks and shares sales and marketing techniques with multiple publications and producers. Thousands of successful agents, attorneys, and CPAs have been trained in his prospecting and selling techniques, with great success. In 2003, he started his first marketing organization, RZ Financial, then in 2008, he partnered with Ed Prewitt to create RZ Financial Network. Mr. Zuidema served as a member of the Government Relations Committee and now serves on NAFA’s Board of Directors Executive Committee and the NAFA PAC board. In 2012, the Wright County Economic Development Partnership honored Mr. Zuidema with its Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
